Model Kit

Initially built in 1978, the Hornet is a carrier and land-based twin-engine fighter and attack aircraft. The F/A-18 featured several variants, including export models used by several countries. The E Variant was produced as a single-seat aircraft, while the F was made in a tandem-seat configuration. Larger and more advanced than the F/A-18C, the E Variant can haul more weaponry. The initial F/A-18E took flight in 1995, with delivery to the USN in 1999. This kit includes over 75 grey plastic parts, faithfully recreating the F/A-18E from VFA-143 nicknamed "Pukin Dog" in 1/72 scale.
