Model Tank Kit

The Hetzer was a WWII light-tank destroyer built on the Czech Panzer 38(t) the Germans acquired before the war. Over 1,000 tanks were ordered directly by Hitler in January 1944. The Hetzer was powered by a Praga AC/26-cylinder engine with a Praga-Wilson gearbox. With the 75mm gun, the tank weighed in at 15 tons with a top speed of 42km/h. The interior of the Hetzer was quite cramped with a loader, gunner, and driver set in a row on the lefthand side of the tank. This kit features the late production version. When fully assembled, this 1/35 scale model measures 24cm long and 9cm wide.
