The AFV Club 1/35 LVTH6A1 Fire Support Vehicle Cannon Team recreates a unique amphibious armored vehicle developed to provide heavy fire support for U.S. Marine Corps operations. Based on the LVTP-5 family of amphibious vehicles, the LVTH6A1 was equipped with a 105mm howitzer mounted in a fully rotating turret, giving Marine units mobile artillery capability during amphibious assaults and ground operations. This detailed kit captures the distinctive large hull, turret, and amphibious vehicle features, along with realistic weapon and equipment details. It played an important role during the Vietnam War with its unusual combination of armored mobility and artillery firepower.
