The FV101 Scorpion was one of Britains most successful Cold War-era armored reconnaissance vehicles, combining exceptional mobility, compact size, and powerful armament in a lightweight tracked platform. Introduced in the 1970s as part of the Combat Vehicle Reconnaissance (Tracked) family, the Scorpion was designed for rapid reconnaissance missions and could operate effectively in challenging terrain where larger armored vehicles struggled. Armed with a 76mm cannon, it provided valuable fire support while maintaining the speed and agility needed for scouting operations. This 1/35 scale kit accurately recreates the FV101 Scorpion with a detailed turret, finely molded hull, realistic suspension and tracks, accurate running gear, and authentic British Army markings.
