The M60A1 Magach 6B GAL represents one of Israels extensive upgrades of the American M60 Patton tank, transforming it into a more capable and survivable main battle tank for modern armored warfare. Developed by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), the Magach 6B incorporated improved fire-control equipment, the Israeli GAL fire-control system, enhanced armor protection, and other battlefield modifications based on Israels combat experience during conflicts in the Middle East. These upgrades helped extend the service life of the M60A1 platform while improving its effectiveness against newer threats. This 1/35 scale kit accurately recreates the distinctive IDF variant with detailed turret fittings, upgraded external armor features, realistic suspension and running gear, and authentic Israeli markings.
