AFV Clubs 1/700 Adelaide Class Guided Missile Frigate kit captures a modern Australian naval icon with the option to build either a Royal Australian Navy Adelaide-class frigate or a Spanish Navy Santa Mara-class frigate. Based on the Oliver Hazard Perry-class design, the Adelaide class served as a key air-defense platform for Australia from the 1980s through the late 2010s, with upgrades such as the Mk 41 Vertical Launch System giving select ships enhanced missile capabilities. This detailed kit features finely molded surface detail, photo-etched parts, radar and weapons systems, a SH-60B Seahawk helicopter, RIM-66 Standard and RGM-84 Harpoon missiles, Mk75 76mm gun, Phalanx CIWS, and other modern naval fittings.
