A classic example of British armored design during the early years of World War II, the Crusader Mk. II British Cruiser Tank represents the UKs approach to fast, maneuverable armor intended to exploit breakthroughs and support mobile operations in the desert campaigns of North Africa. Upgraded from the earlier Crusader Mk. I, the Mk. II featured a 2-pounder (40mm) gun, improved armor protection, and refined turret and hull layouts.
