In 1941, the IV b-type 10.5cm self-propelled howitzer was equipped with an open-top turret using the chassis of the Panzer IV, and a 10.5cmleFH18 howitzer mounted there. As a result, it was characterized by two fewer wheels and one less upper support wheel. The turret could turn 35 degrees left and right. The engine is equipped with a HL66P water-cooled in-line 6-cylinder gasoline engine. A prototype vehicle was completed in 1942, but it was not transferred to mass production.
