A faithful miniature of one of rallyings most outrageous homologation specials, this 1/24 scale kit captures the squat, wide-arched stance and mid-engine aggression that made the Renault 5 Turbo a legend of early 1980s motorsport. Originally unveiled as a radical concept at the 1978 Paris Salon and later developed into a Group 4 rally weapon, the Turbos rear-mounted engine, flared intakes, and compact dimensions gave it both visual drama and competitive biteculminating in victories such as the 1982 Tour de Corse.
