The F/A-18D ATARS (Advanced Tactical Airborne Reconnaissance System) transformed the two-seat Hornet into a highly capable reconnaissance platform for the U.S. Marine Corps, providing real-time battlefield intelligence through advanced electro-optical and infrared sensors.
