Build a legendary French naval strike aircraft with this highly detailed 1/48 scale Super tendard / Super tendard Modernis model kit from Kinetic. Developed by Dassault-Breguet as an evolution of the tendard IV, the Super tendard was designed specifically for carrier operations with the French Navy, combining precision strike capability with excellent handling characteristics. Entering service in the late 1970s, the aircraft became famous for its use aboard French aircraft carriers and for its combat debut during the Falklands War, where Argentine Navy Super tendards successfully employed Exocet anti-ship missiles against British naval forces.
