he Kinetic 1/48 CF-104D RCAF Starfighter model kit accurately reproduces the two-seat trainer version of Canadas legendary Starfighter. Built under license by Canadair, the CF-104 served the Royal Canadian Air Force and later the Canadian Armed Forces throughout the Cold War, primarily in NATO strike and reconnaissance roles across Europe. The dual-control CF-104D was used to transition pilots to the aircrafts demanding high-speed performance while retaining the sleek appearance and impressive capabilities that made the Starfighter famous.
