The Tekno RC EB48 and ET48 2.2 Machined Differential Pinion Gear (13T) is a precision CNC-cut component designed to optimize drivetrain performance with smoother acceleration, reduced rolling resistance, and improved cornering speed. Engineered as a direct replacement for TKR9153, this pinion features enhanced tooth engagement for increased efficiency and durability.
Ideal for high-speed tracks with sweeping turns, it provides a balanced blend of traction and control, reducing wheelspin on loose surfaces while maintaining a smoother, more predictable power delivery compared to 12/40 gearing. Additionally, it can be used for underdrive or rare overdrive applications in extremely low-traction conditions, making it a versatile upgrade for the EB48 and ET48 2.2 platforms.
In very loose conditions, these gears can be used for under or over drive. Overdrive is only recommended in rare situations where traction is extremely low!
Overdrive Options:
- OD with 13/43 and 14/47 = 1.484% (13/43 goes in front)
- OD with 13/43 and 12/40 = 0.7724% (13/43 goes in front)
- OD with 12/40 and 14/47 = 0.7116% (12/40 goes in front)
