The belt included 250 cartridges. The machinegun could fire up to 600 shots in a minute. To facilitate transporting of the heavy machinegun (its weight was about 70 kg) was used Sokolov's wheel carriage. The machinegun was used to fire at enemy infantry and vulnerable parts of enemy vehicles.
