The SPAD XIII was designed to replace the successful but aging SPAD VII and included some significant mechanical improvements. By the war's end, over 8,000 SPAD XIIIs were produced, and the Aronautique Militaire, the Royal Flying Corps, and the United States Army Air Service flew them. This Academy kit with over 20 plastic parts faithfully recreates the French Spad XIII WWI Fighter in a 1:72 scale.
