Model Kit

The AN/TWQ-1 Avenger is one of the most recognizable short-range air defense systems used by the U.S. military, designed to protect maneuver forces and critical assets from low-altitude aerial threats. Mounted on a highly mobile HMMWV (Humvee) chassis, the Avenger combines FIM-92 Stinger missiles, a .50 caliber machine gun, and advanced optical and infrared targeting systems to engage helicopters, aircraft, and unmanned aerial vehicles. First fielded during the late Cold War, the system has continued to evolve and remains an important component of modern air defense operations. This 1/35 scale kit accurately recreates the Avenger vehicle with its detailed missile pods, sensor assembly, weapon station, HMMWV chassis, realistic suspension, and finely molded exterior equipment.
